Its's critical for people to connect to their own emotions. They are completely necessary for self discovery, transformation, peace, happiness, and moving into a state of true health. We need to let ourselves feel our emotions in order to get through them.

Your intuitions, your emotions are cluing you in to extra information that's not available to your thinking mind. So it's important to experience and feel emotions when they come up.

Why is Emotional Intelligence Important?

Not only will a boost in Emotional Intelligence help you be more successful in your workplace, it will also enable you to have deeper relationships and a more meaningful life. When you are in control of your emotions, you will be less likely to purposefully or accidentally traumatize others, so people will not have to be on guard around. You will have more control over YOUR own life. Instead of being a slave to your emotions - doing exactly as they command.
